Tanzania as a country is making efforts in moving into a middle income country by the year 2025. One of the strategies set by the government emphasizes on building a nation that is diverse and highly industrialized. This has opened doors of opportunities to many sectors of the country, the agricultural sector being one of them. Currently the agricultural sector itself contributes to 37.8% of the national GDP and 80% of the country’s labor force.
Tanzania is greatly blessed to have so many types of spices such Cloves, Cinnamon (Ceylanicum), Cardamom, Ginger, Turmeric, Black pepper and even small amounts of Nutmegs and Mace. The company as the name itself suggests (a small elegant villa especially one on the grounds of larger establishment) seeks to take great advantage of the agricultural opportunities available in Tanzania by producing Cinnamon, Cardamom and Cloves that are of international standards that can be traded both domestically and internationally. Most importantly, the factory will bring a lot of impact to the Muheza community including employment.
TRIANON is founded by three partners who are Mr. Edward Rukaka and Mrs. Fatima Rukaka together with their business partner Drs. Paul B. de Rooij.
